Artist Peter Dixon took advantage of our Megalo workshop session to respond to the news that the National Art School (NAS) was under treat of closure. Peter is NAS alumni and an energetic artist and screen printer. His response was strong, simple and highlighted not only the struggle to save the independent arts institution, but addresses the sale of state owned land in East Sydney, for example, the sale and commerical development of the Caritas Centre Health Care facility - directly across the street from NAS.
