So…. this just happened! We launched the book!! Sydney - We Need to Talk!, a collection of short, accessible interventions about the politics of urbanisation was launched in conjunction with the Festival of Urbanism. Special thanks to Professor Peter Phibbs, the Festival team, Sydney Urban Crew, Sarah Lorien, Robyn Dowling, Vanessa Berry and all my friends who helped make this happen. We sold out of the allocated books for the event - so your only chance to get a copy now is to register for the Publication Event at Fisher Library next Thursday. We have saved a small number of books and posters for this special event. See you there!

PIR - WEEK 6 IN THE FISHER LIBRARY by Wendy Murray

WOW! Putting this post together I realise how much I've done this week; Monday I printed the final colour on the CMYK dust jackets, the books arrived from printer on Thursday morning, printed 100 front pages on the Albion, 100 screen printed covers, got a saddle stitch lesson with Janet Parker-Smith up at SCA and collated and bound the first 7 books. This weekend the Sydney Urban Crew have all come together to fold, bind an package the edition. What a week!

PIR - WEEK 5 IN THE FISHER LIBRARY by Wendy Murray

Week 5 was an odd week - a lot of time spent on the computer making the last edits for the digital artwork. Started printing the CMYK dust jacket up at SCA...I'd forgotten how much fun screen printing CMYK can be!! Look forward to printing the last colour on Monday.
