Celebrating 1 Year on The Gallatin Pike

On the 25 February 2026 I celebrated 1 year working on The Gallatin Pike. BIG thanks to EVERYONE who has supported me on the road this year!! The snacks, the coffees, the umbrellas, the bikes, the hats, the music, the pens, the love…. thank you all!! ❤️

HALF WAY HOME (IN A TRUCK)

An exhibition of 135 Gallatin Pike drawings in the back of a truck …. on The Gallatin Pike. On the 25 October I celebrated 8 months of drawing Every Building on The Gallatin Pike. I'm guessing I might be about half way....so to celebrate this milestone, we’re hanging all the drawings together. 3 locations.

Every Building on the Gallatin Pike

Inspired by the Waylon Jennings (White Lightnin’) album cover and after Every Building on the Sunset Strip by Ed Ruscha, this drawing project started at 6:44pm Tuesday 25 February 2025.

This is the mock-up letterpress layout for the artist book - printed while on residency at Camp Nevernice, Nashville. Book scheduled for release in late 2026.

MAKING THE GALLATIN PIKE ARTWORK

The Gallatin Pike artwork was made using traditional letterpress processes. With the help of local printer Laura Baisden, we designed and printed work that offered a nod to the legendary Every Building on the Sunset Strip artist book by Ed Ruscha.
